Verification is only as good as the data behind it.
That is not a talking point. It is a constraint that shapes everything we do at Black Tiger. Coverage gaps, incomplete records, and outdated data do not just create friction. They undermine the entire point of verification.
We have been working to change that.
The investment and what changed
Black Tiger has made a significant investment in expanding the datasets that power Data Verify, our suite of individual and address verification solutions.
- Belgium individual verification: coverage has increased from 81% to 87%
- France individual verification: coverage has increased from 15% to 55%
In Belgium, our coverage now positions us as the leading provider in the market.
For France, the improvement is a step change. Going from 15% to 55% population coverage is not incremental. This 40-point improvement fundamentally changes what is possible for organizations verifying individuals in France. Verification requests that previously came back incomplete or unmatched now have a much higher success rate.
Beyond coverage percentages, we have also expanded the depth of information available for each individual. More data points per record means verification results are not just more complete, they are more reliable. The dataset covers name, address, postal code, phone number, email, and date of birth, and is refreshed monthly. These improvements are automatically included in our individual verification solution at no additional cost.
Where our data comes from
Our individual verification data comes from a leading European data provider operating under documented lawful basis under GDPR. Address data is sourced exclusively from official national government registries, the most reliable source available.
What Data Verify does
Data Verify is Black Tiger's suite of verification solutions, built for organizations that depend on accurate, reliable data to run their business.
You may know our solutions by different names: Road65, BelRoads, IDSO, Movers, or something else entirely. These are all part of what we now call Data Verify. Nothing changes in terms of how you access or use the service. This investment simply means the data behind it is significantly better.
Built for KYC and AML
Data Verify is designed specifically for KYC and AML use cases. For financial services companies, insurers, credit providers, payments businesses, and any organization with regulatory compliance obligations, the strength of your verification data directly affects your ability to meet those obligations.
Higher coverage means fewer gaps in your verification flows, less manual intervention, and greater confidence in your data overall.
Designed for operational improvement
Stop the extra work that bad data causes, whether it’s in incorrect contact information for marketing campaigns or customers you can’t reach with renewal notices or service updates. Easily see what data is accurate, what needs to be reviewed, and where to focus your improvement efforts.
What is available today
Belgium and France are our primary markets, now with stronger individual verification coverage. For organizations with verification needs beyond these two markets, Data Verify also supports a growing number of countries. Individual verification data is available on request for Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the UK, and the US.
Address verification coverage extends even further, spanning 80+ countries across Europe and beyond. If your business operates across multiple countries, we can walk you through what is available for the markets that matter to you.
What comes next
This investment is a milestone, not a stopping point. We are continuing to improve data quality, expand coverage depth, and grow our geographic reach across our solutions.
If you are a current Black Tiger customer and want to understand how the updated data applies to your business, reach out to your account contact. If you are looking to improve the quality and reliability of your data, we would welcome the conversation.
