In the current context, with the implementation of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Black Tiger meets its consumers to know their thoughts about digital advertising.

Black Tiger - What are your thoughts about digital advertising ?
Alexandre, seller - I don't read most of the mails I receive. It depends on what I need. I tick "I don't want to receive emails" from one or the other partner. The brand I am currently working for asks her clients to give her their mail address in order to send them the documents then need. I know that the data we collect are used.
Black Tiger - Have you heard of the GDPR ?
Alexandre, seller - No, I don't know it. What is it ?
Black Tiger - The GDPR is a regulation which drastically protects any citizen in the digital universe since 25 May 2018.
Alexandre, seller - It is very interesting. I am going to inquire because I fell concerned about it.


Black Tiger - What are your thoughts about digital advertising ?
Xavier, consultant - I don't really care about advertising in general. I am a "bad consumer"! I feel like being more and more solicited by brands I don't really know and this is not always a good idea to send me advertising I don't always read.
Black Tiger - Have you heard of the GDPR ?
Xavier, consultant - I have heard a little bit about it because of my job but I don't know it in details, far from it.
Black Tiger - The GDPR is a regulation which drastically protects any citizen in the digital universe since 25 May 2018.
Xavier, consultant - Even if I tell you I am a "bad consumer", I am still a consumer! On one hand, I want to take advantage of commercial offers, but on the other hand, I don't want to be invaded by advertising I am not interested in. So, if this regulation can help me being protected as a consumer as you say, while remaining informed by the brands I like, it is good news.


Black Tiger - What are your thoughts about digital advertising ?
Marie, sales representative - I am rather annoyed with the unwanted emails and text messages that I receive every day. I can understand that brands need to win new clients and create customer loyalty, but I sometimes feel like my data are used behind my back and I don't like it. It takes a lot of time to unsubscribe from emails I didn't choose to receive. And ultimately, I sometimes tend to lump everyone together, the brands I like and the ones I don't even know.

Marie, sales representative - Not at all.
Black Tiger - The GDPR is a regulation which drastically protects any citizen in the digital universe since 25 May 2018.
Marie, sales representative - Good news ! If a law can help protecting consumers from those invasive emails, then it's a good law. I hope it will really be applied. It is good to understand that time has come to establish rules concerning data and their daily use.


Black Tiger - What are your thoughts about digital advertising ?
Louis, sound engineer - I receive a lot of uninteresting emails as everybody else but I don't really care, I have other things to do! Anyway, I don't read it when I don't know what it is all about. I am not the right person for that !

Louis, sound engineer - Why not ? We hear a lot about big data without knowing what it is. We have no idea about the shortcomings of which our data may be subject to, so a regulation that protects us seems to be a good thing to me. To be continued.
